1. Controller
The controller is Frank Klingebiel, c/o Berliner Straße 31, 38226 Salzgitter, Germany, e-mail: post@cdu-salzgitter.de. The person responsible for the content under German press law (V.i.S.d.P.) is named in the legal notice.
2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted on self-operated server infrastructure. When you access the site, technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, time of access, page requested) is processed (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Audience measurement (only with your consent)
This website does not embed any Google services, advertising networks or external fonts. Only if you consent to the „audience measurement“ category in the cookie banner will the following be transmitted to and stored on our own server for each page view: the page requested and its title, the time of access, the referring page, campaign parameters (utm_*), device type, browser and operating system, IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country/region/city), as well as a randomly generated visitor ID (localStorage) and session ID (sessionStorage). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and sec. 25 (1) TDDDG. Without your consent nothing is sent and nothing is stored in your browser; withdrawing consent via the cookie button deletes the visitor and session ID immediately and stops any further collection. The data collected is deleted after 14 days.
4. Necessary storage in your browser
Regardless of consent, the site stores your own settings locally in your browser (cookie choice, language, colour scheme, ticks on the postal-voting checklist). This data is not transmitted to us. If you log in, a technically necessary session cookie is added.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by e-mail or via a form, the details you provide are processed in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (a)/(b)/(f) GDPR) and are not passed on without your consent.
6. Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority of Lower Saxony (LfD Niedersachsen).
7. External links
This website links to external services. The privacy policies of the respective providers apply there.
